Caring for your Child

We have a Health & Safety Policy and a Safeguarding Policy which are reviewed every year. Everyone who works at Cavendish Close Junior School takes the safety of each child seriously. However, there may be times when your child has an accident, or becomes poorly during the day.

Most of our staff are trained First Aiders and they will look after your child. If you need to be contacted, we do this as soon as we can. If we are unable to contact you, then the Headteacher and/or the Deputy Head will ensure that your child receives the appropriate medical attention.

If your child has asthma, they should bring an inhaler (named) to be kept in their classroom. All other medicines should be given at home, unless your doctor states four doses must be taken. See the Medicines in School page.
